HOW A FEW WORDS CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE...

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue”
The tongue is a small part of the body and yet it boasts of great things. In our homes and with our children, the tongue has the power to destroy. How many adults are still struggling because of the angry words they heard as children? “You Idiot!”, “You are so stupid!” and “I am sick and tired of…….”. Do parents have not said things they later regret? But while the tongue has the power to destroy, it also has the power to develop and improve.
Our words of affection and security can build up and bless those we love. We should have trust on our children. Positive words and thoughts motivate their brain and action. So, as parents we should choose our words wisely. It will regain their childrens’ self control and confidence.
“Language shapes our behavior and each word we use affects the personality. The right words spoken in the right way can bring us good manners, attitude etc., while the wrong words- or even the right words spoken in the wrong way can lead your child to disaster. We must carefully arrange our words, if we want our children to achieve their goals and bring out dreams to execute”.
Negative, annoying, irritating words can create anxiety and increase depression in childrens’ unconscious mind. So it is high time in this modern world if we want our children to face the world with confidence we need to be patient because our words can change their future.

Child Labour...

Child Labour refers to the practice of engaging children in economic activities. These children are deprived of primary education and exposed to mental and physical dangers. The curse of child labour has deeply penetrated in Indian society. In the latter part of the 20th century, child labour remains a serious problem in many parts of the world. Many of these children live in underdeveloped countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Their living conditions are crude and their chances for education minimal. The income they bring in is, however, necessary for the survival of their families. In other cases, children are bonded, working to pay off an initial cash advance from the employer with escalating interest which leaves them effectively slaves. In this project , information has been shared on some of the legal and programmatic initiatives undertaken in India over the last decade or so to address the problem of child labour. These programs remain committed to the full eradication of all forms of child labour wherever it might exist in India, beginning with the most exploitative and hazardous forms and have adopted this goal as part of national policy. Both the Indian courts and the National Human Rights Commission have been paying increasing attention to the issue. India has also been participating in the International Program on Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) of the ILO. But the problem remains vast, and finding resources for rehabilitation schemes, given the magnitude of the problem, is a continuing challenge.
The International Labour Organization estimates that 215 million children between the ages of 5 and 17 currently work under conditions that are considered illegal, hazardous, or extremely exploitative. Underage children work at all sorts of jobs around the world, usually because they and their families are extremely poor. Large numbers of children work in commercial agriculture, fishing, manufacturing, mining, and domestic service. Some children work in illicit activities like the drug trade and prostitution or other traumatic activities such as serving as soldiers. Child labour is serious threat to Economic growth. Uneducated children of today cannot contribute much in the economic prosperity of the country. At present the outlook of educated men has been completely changed. They acknowledge the significance of manual labour. Even educated young men of upper class do not hesitate to do all sorts of laborious work. They have felt that there is dignity of labour. They must labour to earn their bread instead of being burdens to others. An ordinary labourer without education is better than an idle educated man because he earns his bread with the sweat of his brow. His work is as sacred as to worship God.

SCHOOL DAYS: HAPPIEST DAYS OF LIFE...

School is a place where you grow, where you start understanding the world, from where you begin your mistakes and start improving upon them and above all it is place where you have unadulterated fun. Yes fun… where you enjoy your life with your friends and teachers. School is that easy part of your life where you have no worries. That is why we always long to go back to the school days even when we are successful and content in our lives.
There are some people who hated or who hate going to school. I think that may be their teachers were/are not that supportive or an even greater reason would be they did/do not have good friends. There are also some people who love to stay inside their shells and do not like to socialize. Some people also like colleges more than schools because schools have several restrictions that colleges do not have. But colleges might give you freedom but it can also make you self centered. People start misusing the freedom and start doing big mistakes. These mistakes can sometimes be so big that they might have to pay it with their lives. That is why rules are very important and schools are the best places that teach you stay disciplines, follow rules and also have self control.
Schools are the best places that we can ever go to. Friends are made who stay on for the entire life. Teachers teach not only the subjects but also the values that help in building the strong foundation of virtuous and successful life. It is that heaven where one can relax and remain tension free. That’s why it has been rightly said that:

No matter how much you think you hate school, you will always miss it when you leave.

EARTH DAY...

Celebrating Earth Day 2015, Meenakshi Public School hosted a daylong event featuring skit, fun and drama for the kids and also gave a message to the community that we love nature and we here to save our MOTHER EARTH. Many people think climate change is a remote problem, but the fact is that it’s already impacting real people, animals, and beloved places all over the world, and these Faces of Climate Change are multiplying every day.
Earth day is an annual event celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Primary wing of Meenakshi Public school, Sector -10 A Gurgaon also celebrated the day. It was the day where we wall participated and made efforts to create awareness about the importance of Earth day and how it can impact the environment and create a healthy living.
I was very impressed with both the level of interest in this event and the creativity of the skit and enthusiasm that was visible on every little Meenakshians of class V C. They expressed the joy and happiness which they experience in the school while learning and growing in the conducive environment. All of the students who took initiative in the program should be applauded. “These youth are the future leaders of our communities. Their engagement and interest in our environment helps to teach their peers hot to save environment and encourage adults to do the same”.
Students learn traditional subjects including Maths, Science, English and Computers, but classroom academics at Meenakshi Public School come with an added value to the students that now they have strong sense of connection and responsibility for the natural world. They can put their hands together in ensuing we save the Earth by doing small things will impact in a big manner.

EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY...

In the global world of 21st century e books have replaced text books and notepads have replaced notebooks. E learning has changed the entire education system. When I was a student my teachers asked me to write notes on whatever was taught and at the same time I had to concentrate on what the teacher was speaking. However, the scene is entirely different now. With the help of technology we are connected to classrooms worldwide and thereby connect to what the other side of the world is doing. Not only that but it has become a common norm these days to exchange thoughts thereby making the world smaller and smaller with each passing day.
A very important benefit of technology in education is the use of audio-visual aids. Through the use of these students can come out of the mundane world of the books and enter into the digitized world where nothing is incomprehensible or unreachable. The student can learn according to his/her own pace and if he/she gets stuck anywhere the option of replaying is always there.
However, every coin has two sides. Technology has its set of disadvantages too if abused or put into use for unfair means. It can make a person lazy and inactive. The students are the ones who can fall prey to these adverse affects. It is therefore very essential to monitor and keep a check. Even though e books and notepads and think pads have made the work easier there still cannot be any competition with the tradition ways of studying that are reading and writing. In my opinion technology should be used for making the work easier. We should never become too dependent on it as that would be harmful.

Be Resilient...

Being Resilient means being blessed in disappointment because when you will be resilient you will see your life’s problem in different way and can overcome the troubling situation easily and soon. Resilient means to be capable of tackling your problem, sorrow, mistakes and failure by thinking yourself to be a part of it and not responsible for all wrong happenings and take your failure as a step towards improvement and growth.
A resilient person or child can cope up easily with their bad situations. We all feel bad, helpless, disappointed or go through stressful time but the problems and situations are different depending upon the age, environment, boundaries, pressure, target time limits, family and friends support and upbringing.
Sometimes we think that the other person is having less problem and most of the time for children we think that they don’t have any tension or problem but we don’t see the things from their point of view which a parent must do. They should talk to their children about their problems, atmosphere outside and how do they feel when they are with them or with their friends.
Parents should guide them and keep telling them about handling the worst situation whether it is their performance in cultural programme or their position in class. Parents should share their experience also with their children how they handled that time whether that experience was good or bad. By doing these things parents can help their children to be resilient and children will also feel good by sharing their feeling about a particular thing how do they feel and what should they do.
Sometimes parents feel ashamed or pressurized when their children can’t score well in exams and teachers complain or if any other parents tell them about the best performance of their children. You feel sad and take tension, sometimes you pressurize your child also and it affects the mind and health of your child. If you are resilient you will not see the things in negative way. You would try to improve your child’s performance rather than comparing and pressurizing the child to do the same as others are doing. If your child scores 20 out of 50 you will try him to score 30 not 49.
No one is perfect by birth so you should try to be resilient to overcome your drawbacks to develop resiliency. You talk about your problems with others who make you feel good and show you the right way to come out from that situation, give time to yourself .You should not feel that I can’t do this is not my cup of tea. The people who did this they were very superior or have much better qualities than me. Don’t think I shouldn’t do this, I can’t do it and I should quit.
A spider tries several times to make his web but fails most of the times but doesn’t quit and tries again and gets success. We must also try to be resilient.
I would like to share my own experience for the same thing, once I was told to write something on a topic for that I did my work but It was not appropriate and I was called by my seniors and they made me understand and the way they talked to me was very supportive and I did not feel that I have committed a blunder I thought that I have made mistake like others and I thought that I will do my work again with more hard work and I did the same. The support from family and peers or seniors help you a lot to be resilient. You should keep a positive view, confidence in your strengths and abilities, try to find out the solution of that difficulty rather that regretting and cursing your self. By being resilient you will find a different and good way to live your life in stead of feeling ashamed and failure. If you will be resilient you will never quit you will always try again.

SOCIAL NETWORKING...

Every coin has two faces- heads and tails. Everything has its good and bad effects. It is up to us how to use or misuse anything that is given to us.
Social networking is also one of the things which if put into constructive use can be very good. People are in touch with each other by just a click of the mouse. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and personal blogs are a few means through which people exchange their daily views and update themselves about what is happening in the world. Moreover it is certain that if something is happening in some part of the United States it is bound to affect people living in India as well. Hence it becomes utmost important to be informed.
It is also very fruitful to promote any social cause or to make people aware of any social evil in the society. Recently, a girl was molested and the youth were out on streets to demand justice for her and within few hours the entire world became one in the demand for justice for the victim.
On the other hand it also has its baggage of vices. People misuse it to exploit the youth, mislead people and cheat financially through social networking sites to ask for bogus donations. It also enhances people from not meeting in person. Virtual exchange of welfare and information prevents the personal human touch. On my opinion people are not concerned to spend quality time with their near and dear ones.
In the end, I would like to say that a perfect balance of both the proper use of social networking must be maintained in one’s life in order to have a good healthy life.

SMILE: a small curve that can set many things straight...

The very first language that a child learns to understand is the language of emotions and love. A child of three months can very well understand that whether the persons around him are showing their love and concern ,or their anger .The emotion of love and affection is usually shown with a smile and caring looks. It is this aspects of life i.e., smile that I will introduce to you.
Well!  Just a year back when I joined this school I was clouded by doubts about whether I’ll be able to get on with people or not . The smiling faces of my colleagues gave me a sense of security and ofcourse, it produced a magical effect .
Now, most often smile symbolize the emotions of joy and happiness but it becomes meaningful only when it conveys a quality of mind. A smile can give an insight into one’s personality. The effect of smile is that you immediately smile back. The smile of Mona Lisa is as mysterious as her character. The plastic and synthetic smile of airhostess and receptionist never display any emotion, while which the smiles  of politician lack genuineness and depth .A smile can be sad ,crooked ,mischievous and what not .That’s why smile is an important feature of a person’s face ,an integral part of human life.
Smile is contagious .One might have observed that one smiling face in the crowd lights up another and another and another and so on……

CHILD LABOUR AND ITS HIDDEN TRUTHS...

Child labour is a slur on the society which is still continuing in most of the countries, especially the developing ones. Being an Indian when I think of this issue the first question that arises is what constitutes child labour?
Earlier the weaker sections of the society used to indulge their children into labour activities to make the two ends meet at their homes.  More kids meant more working hands and that meant more income. But poverty remains the core truth and here comes the very essential question: Is it necessary to have so many kids if you can’t take care of them or fulfill their basic needs? Their point of view, however, is quiet clear when they say more the number of children, more comfortable will be their lives.
Then it also forces me to think about those children who are participating in the numerous talent shoes of our country or movies or television serials. According to me this too falls under child labour. A child who should go to school, play with peers and should spend his/ her life tension free gets up early in the morning, rehearses the dialogues and portray different characters. The conditions at these places are not at all favourable for the growth of a child. But I do not see anyone raising a voice against this. Parents too should understand that at such early days of life what a child needs is care and nurture and not limelight.
Therefore I can say that it is not only the weaker sections that are at fault, we, the so called educated people are also not responsible behind this flourishing trade of child labour. My heart aches every time I see small child carrying loads of bricks on his shoulders or a small child stands in front of the camera and talks things that are beyond his/her age.
Through this column I want to raise awareness to take a stand against all forms of child labour and make this world beautiful for them too.

ADDICTION IN TODAY’S SCENARIO...

What is addiction? What are we getting addicted of? Which sections of the society are getting addicted? Is addiction only associated with drugs? When we look around today we see people running throughout the day in the pursuit to make several ends meet. In this hassle what is left behind is peace of mind. The ones who are most affected are the children. They do not fall in any categories. They can’t associate themselves to the little ones who are absolutely carefree and also the older ones who have lots of worries constantly plaguing them. That is the reason they look for different options to keep themselves indulged and involved. Technology is the factor that is alluring them the most.
While the problem seems to be acute when we talk about the young and unripe ones, nevertheless in today’s world the stark reality is everyone irrespective of age, caste, religion or sex is absolutely in control of technology and gadgets.
The worst form of addiction in today’s time is obviously the addiction to the social media; people do not give their minds or bodies any rest while they share their entire life in different social networking sites. The definitions of privacy also have, therefore, changed. It does not depend anymore on social, economic or educational status of a person. Everyone everywhere is using technology. We are getting addicted to status, meaningless standards and false identities.
All these ideas make me feel very confused that while we are getting so much addicted to everything material or immaterial how do we find a sense of belonging in a particular space? I think that we are left with no answers to this question as we do not really belong to anywhere particular these days. We belong to everywhere but still are devoid of emotions of togetherness and love.
Where are we heading towards? Will the world be ever able to come out of the tangles of addiction? Through this column I appeal to all to ponder on the issue and look around and try to find out those faces and those emotions that have somewhere lost in the virtual realities of the twenty-first century.

DISCIPLINE...

The word 'discipline' means a training that produces obedience or self-controlled behavior to the orders of a proper authority. In every walk of life, discipline is of supreme importance. When a number of people are engaged to perform some colossal work, they must observe certain rules and obey the persons placed over them. That is called 'discipline'. If they do not obey the rules or their superiors, the work is likely to suffer.

In a battle-field, every soldier must obey the command of his higher officers. If not, the army, lacking discipline, is likely to lose the battle. It is only that a disciplined army is found to march forward and win the war. There are thousands of such examples in the pages of history.

Discipline is the backbone of character. Without discipline, nothing great can be achieved in life. A person is normally found to be disciplined from his childhood. It is a habit that one acquires from his environments, or by way of training. A child must be trained to observe discipline from his early years. His habits, manners, movements, speeches- everything should be guided by the term of discipline so that a good personality can be acquired in his later life that helps one in one's upliftment.

A person must show his sense of discipline to his family, and then to his country. It is very important to enforce discipline also into the family life. Then, one is able to appreciate and accept the blessings of discipline in public life, too. Discipline is an essential habit that everyone should possess as a civilized citizen.

Man cannot live alone. He needs friends. He likes to live in the company of other men or animals. There are also those people who love the company of books. The company of books gives the pleasure of company of man and Nature too. What is a book? A book is the map of man’s life and life in Nature. Books can be our friends. They can be by our side in whatever mood we are. They enlighten and inform us. Books are written by experienced people so we can learn about their life and their experiences too. We can carry books with us when we travel. They fill our minds and hearts with hope and joy. Books play important role in influencing our characters and personality. A man is known by the company he keeps. So it is very important to pick up the right kind of books to read. Reading is habit one should cultivate right form childhood. It is the best leisure time activity. One must graduate from picture comics, fairy tales, detective and romances to good literature. The correct choice of books depends on one’s temperament and tastes. Books are written on different topics like history, geography, science, philosophy, religion and so on. One must treat each subject as the windows through which the glimpses of the world can be taken. Books like the Ramayana and Mahabharata are relevant in modern times too and teach people the ways of life. Writer’s like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc. put forward their life on a platter to understand their goals and teachings. LOVE: A BLESSING FOR ALL...

Love is pure, vibrant, indestructible and priceless. It is a feeling that penetrates even the most abrasive soul in the universe. It acts as an aid for the abatement of the brimming lava of abhorrence, revenge and despair bottled inside man towards the persistent presence of evil in the society. Love has the infinite power to convert a radical into a soul that pledges to revolutionize the constant, stagnant, perishable state of morals in the society.
Love has wide arms in which it beholds indiscriminately the creatures of life created by the supreme God. It is an infinite force that sweeps away a weeping soul into the brightness of a weeping soul into the brightness of fresh, healthy, glee and cheerful surroundings. It is lovable, wanted and the dream of every breathing soul in the universe to be loves or cared for. Conversing with the roadside beggar rudely shatters his dream to be shown respect to, but is still richer as he has his doting kids and caring partner for whom the love is infinite than his abuser who returns to his lavish house grim by the darkness of lies and deceit. Loving and being loved is therefore the greatest gift to mankind by the almighty.

THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME...

There are many sayings about time. No one can deny its importance in his or her life. It plays an important role in one’s life. God has created this world for a reason and if we closely observe Nature, we would find plenty of things that come on time. The sun, the moon, the stars and the planets continue their motion in specific orbits and on a fixed time. The high tide and the low tide as well as the season totally depend on time. We always panic on hearing the word “time- table”. But it is the most organized and systematic way of doing our scheduled work. It briefs you about the approximate amount of work you can do within a limited time you have. It is very well said that “Failing to plan is planning to fail”. So making a time table for your daily routine can change your life completely. It helps you to utilize your time effectively and efficiently.
If we are not managing our time- table and working accordingly to a proper schedule we will face problem in the end. So time management is extremely important for all of us. If a student does not come on time it means that he does not realize the value of time. If a farmer does not cut the crop on time, then he also does not realize that he is wasting his own time. Luck always knocks the door of that person who realizes the value of time. Try to be punctual in everything as time is the most precious thing in the world because time once passed becomes your past and the past can never be revived. Only those who value time reach the summit of success in life.

SPORTS...

Sports are the preservers of health. Sports keep a person physically and mentally fit. They keep us away from disease of heart, mental stress and sleeplessness. Sports not only keeps us fit but also instill a spirit of self-confidence, self-reliance, justice, discipline and fair play. Sports provide us with recreation and enjoyment. We are familiar with “Health is Wealth”, “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body” but these can be true only if more and more people start participating in sports and games actively. A healthy person can work cheerfully for a long period of time and face the danger boldly.
Sports are the part and parcel of education. But the schools and parents of this generation generally want their children to focus on education and thus neglect sports. But they don’t know that “Books develop mind and soul while games develop the body.” The aim of school is not only to make a student mentally fit but also physically fit. Sports teach us the art of leadership. Each and every player has to make a habit to follow his leader. In this way sports produce the best citizens of tomorrow. Sport makes a student well behaved and disciplined. It teaches us the skill of team work. A school can make a student all round performer. Most of the schools have no proper arrangements of sports. Education without the sports is incomplete. In order to make a complete man of a student, school should give due importance to sports and games as well.

CORRUPTON IN INDIA...

Everyone must be aware of corruption, as now it has become a part of life. In my opinion, corruption is when a civil servant or any person holding powers misuses them to provide benefits to him or others by violating the laws. Today’s society is totally wrapped around corruption.

Corruption in India is a serious topic
One can even write on it a great epic.

We all talk about corruption but why corruption is so widespread? According to me, the basic reason behind corruption is imbalance of job opportunities, everyone knows about the reservation of seat in politics and jobs in government offices which was done to progress the weaker sections of our society. This reservation is taking another form in today’s society as it is contributing towards hampering the country’s development. Due to this reservation, a high post is acquired by a less than what he deserves. This is the root cause for corruption at lower level as the intelligent one will try to get more as he was not offered the job as per his intelligence. Thus, whenever someone comes to get his work done the more intelligent one, by taking bribe or any other benefit, get the person’s work done as he knows that the person above him has not so much of capability. Moreover, corruptions at higher level has more impact in increasing corruption as the less intelligent, without judging the gravity of the work and for a small benefit, do the work. This clearly signifies that corruption both at higher and lower level is increasing continuously. Environment, politics or any other field is totally corrupt. Now a days everyone wants a comfortable and cultured life, more and more people wish for respect/ honour in the society which gives rise to competition among people. Due to greed and jealously, people use wrong methods to earn more money and reputation in the society. This competition even spoils an honest person.
Thus, corruption is the basis not only for the destruction of India’s developments but also for the values like honesty, humanities, integrity and character. Citizens of India choose their representatives in elections to run the country. In other words, we choose the parents of our country but if they too are corrupt what will happen to the country?
Scams and scandals are so common in the newspapers in which politicians, industrialists and capitalists are involved and best example is A. Raja. As Rajiv Gandhi said if 1 rupee is given to the government only 15p is used for the welfare of the people and the 85p goes in corruption. It’s really true.

We say corruption chokes
Then why we Indians breathe it?
We say corruption kills
Then why we breed it?
It widens the gap
Of poor and rich
Then we continue the same
Without any hitch…….?

Just to talk about corruption is not its solution. If we really want to eliminate it from India, strict actions should be taken. Firstly, I would suggest everyone should be given whatever he/she deserves on the basis of his/her talent and capability. No matter how rich a person is, he is a magistrate or a politician, industrialist or simple common man, laws should be same for all and cases should be filled against them. Strict implementation of laws and a little peace of mind while electing representatives in elections before casting their votes would be useful.
Corruption can be removed if the whole country and government put more efforts to eradicate this cancerous disease from roots of India.
To finish corruption is my plan
If you join friends I am sure we can

VALUES – An integral part of Education...

Our epics such as ‘Mahabharata’ and ‘Ramayana’ tell us the true story of our being Indian. The Indian values are world known for our tradition, our respect for others be it elders or youngsters.
Are we loosing that most integral ingredient of building a personality of being Indian, ‘the values.’ These used to be time when once a person makes a promise, he fulfills that even at the cost of his life. ‘That’ used to be the strength of Indian values. I’m wondering, where that indianness has vanished? Why do we see that these values slowly loosing its importance in one’s personality and why people have become more self-egoist and self-centered.
I believe, the solution to bridge this gap lies to ensure teaching values as a subject to indicate qualities of a balanced personality. No doubt, Value is a very vast concept. What all it includes has to be taught. So why not values to be included in the curriculum itself. I know, today’s generation is in the run of development and progress. They are more practical and futuristic. They are under the notion that of they are qualified and educated they are up-to-date but they forget that values acts as a garnish to every end- result. It adds on the grace of anything. Values make person more civilized. It inculcates the true value of living.
Value of values is now-a-days more important. In the materialistic world human are not becoming literate but getting inhuman. While running on the path of success they tend to forget what the true success is? Ask your ownself, whom would you call a perfect human, one who is educated or one who is educated as well as having values in himself.
Indeed, teaching value is not as easy as it sounds. It is much more than that. Today’s generation is more pro western culture and compromise majority on their values. I know today kids want to be global. Even we want India through these kids as an integral part of the world, but being global doesn’t mean that leave our culture, our values behind.
We need to lead the world, our generation (view) have everything. They are bold, not afraid of taking risk and have the desire of touching the sky, if they are given the touch of ‘values’ through their education. They will become unbeatable like the ‘Great King Ashoka’ and we will again have ‘Indian Epics’ of course modern ones having their space in all civilization.

Collaborative learning viz. Community Building...

“It is not what you do for your children,
But what you have taught them to do for themselves,
That will make them successful human beings.”
Ann Landers

Strengthening its base with fast pace in education industry, Collaborative learning is a teaching style in which students team together on an assignment. In this method students can produce the individual parts of a larger assignment individually and then “assemble” the final work together, as a team. Students are individually accountable for their work but also for the work of the group as a whole, and both products are assessed. They can be assessed: individually, by team, by role, by work product?
This works well by placing students in groups that have between four and seven members. Here group can share ideas, teaching strategies, and solutions. It can be an effective teaching strategy for several reasons:
Firstly, students develop the skill for how to work together and support each other in learning and discovery.
Second, becoming effective and productive team members allows students to develop their independent learning skills by working individually on a portion of a group project that makes them accountable not only to the instructor but also to team members.
And finally, integrating teamwork into a course can result in adding structure to out-of-class time and increasing student accountability for their learning.

Some activities or assignments well suited for collaborative learning include:
• Case studies
• Discussions
• Student-moderated discussions
• Debates
• Collaborative writing
• Collaborative presentation
• Games
• Demonstrations

The idea of an educator will be to help the team to develop
Purpose, goal, and mission of the team—what the team will accomplish
Expectations for the team as a whole as well as for individual members
Roles for each individual
Meeting schedules and deadlines

Although there are always the two sides of the coin so are the anticipated issues or challenges attached with this learning style. Some difficulties that the instructor or students might encounter while working on a collaborative project are workload issues, meeting deadlines, combining their individual pieces into one, work distribution, and so forth. With little diligence an educator can help learners overcome all of them.

Through a variety of collaborative activities, starting early and persisting throughout the course, participants can foster and encourage community, collaboration, and team building among their students.

MORAL VALUES - A MUST HAVE...

“Always do what is right. It will gratify half of mankind & astound the other.”
It is rightly said that – Man is an amalgam of virtues and vices. He is the supreme creation of God who created man in his own image. With the advancement mankind has undergone drastic changes. It is very much hard to compare the present generation with our past legends who were uncomparable  and unmatchable in all respects. Everybody knows that our history is quite glorious in the past as they were social, honest, generous, obedient, committed and they all have left behind their footprints to be followed by the young generation. Unfortunately, the world has progressed in the field of science and technology but the moral values have degenerated.
The present generation has lost the moral values and become materialistic. They want only money and success, relationships have no values for them. They can commit crime at the drop of hat. This all is because of various reasons. Undoubtedly the main reason is media which gives a lot of information and fails to provide the right way to use it.
It is not easy to inculcate the old pattern, culture in the mind of generation X, while our old teachings are still having a peculiar space in day-to –day human life. The whole world is following our old traditions and culture and adopting very speedily and finding their ways of life. It is a matter of surprise that our gen X is changing their life style very rapidly and westernizing themselves. In the current scenario gen X is not much interested to bear and keep alive our logical and fruitful traditions where they can surely find mental peace as well as easy going life.
It is being observed regularly that the moral values are losing their impact and significance in the life of gen X, respect for others, ethics and etiquettes have become the things of past. The nuclear family structure is adversely affecting the society as well as reducing the volume of positive thoughts towards the old traditions of our society & golden history.
We can easily observe the frequently changing behavior of new brigade in their daily pattern of life. Modern era is characterized by a lot of frustration and disappointment due to not being able to achieve the desired goal. A race to reach at the top and to please others always create a cloud of negativity, resulting in loss of peace of mind. Everybody is racing for their own achievements and wants to entertain in short span of time resulting in selfishness and even not care for others.
Inculcation of moral values since birth is very necessary. The time of our breeding likewise, so that they can understand the importance of these values and carry them further to their next breeding to make their future peaceful, bright and path making for others.
Keeping in view, the importance of moral values, the time has come to introduce a subject on importance of moral values in school curriculum which will help in preparing our PROCREATION. This will definitely help the upliftment of mankind and a better world.
